Awarded 2019 Woman of the Year
We are so proud to announce that DeLeesa Meashintubby, Executive Director for Volunteers In Medicine, was chosen as the 2019 Woman of the Year by the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce Women Business Leader’s program.
The purpose of this prestigious award is to celebrate and honor a woman in the Eugene/Springfield
community who has accomplished endeavors that go above and beyond a job description—both in her company and the community around her.
DeLeesa graciously accepted this award at the 2019 Woman of the Year ceremony on November 14th, where she expressed her appreciation and spoke about the importance of teamwork and a “community helping community.”
