From the community:

Lisa Smith – AccessOne

“AccessOne’s mission is to empower patients to lead healthy lives and our participation and support of Volunteers In Medicine further supports that mission. VIM’s impact on our community is significant. Access to behavioral health services, treatment for chronic medical conditions like diabetes, and access to prescription medication and lab work for the working poor is invaluable to help them lead productive, healthy lives.”

Susan Blane – PeaceHealth

“The Volunteers In Medicine mission to provide primary care for low income, underserved adults who cannot afford healthcare coverage is closely aligned with PeaceHealth’s mission to promote personal and community health, and to treat each person in a loving and caring way. Our organizations share mutual values of respect, stewardship, collaboration and social justice. The collaboration and support between PeaceHealth and Volunteers In Medicine helps both our organizations extend needed services to a greater number of vulnerable individuals throughout our shared community. Volunteers In Medicine’s presence makes our community a safer, better, and healthier place to live”
