We are excited to announce that Volunteers in Medicine was selected as one of the top 100 Best Nonprofits to Work for in Oregon by the Oregon Business Magazine – ranking our workplace as one of Oregon’s nonprofit leaders – and with the happiest employees.
The Oregon Business Magazine collected information from an anonymous employee survey and a confidential employer survey of benefits and workplace practices.
The employee survey measured satisfaction and importance of 31 workplace qualities in six categories: work environment; management and communications; mission and goals; career development and learning; benefits and compensation; and sustainable practices.
A Portland-based benefit to celebrate our achievement will be hosted by the Oregon Business Magazine this October with the announcement of our final rankings within the top 100 organizations.
